13U Peewee

13UA is considered a ‘house’ division. The home fields for this division is Mission Sports Park Diamonds 3 & 4.

Description:

Base paths are set at 70 feet and pitchers throw from 48 feet.
Games are 7 innings in length.
13U (Pee Wee) division is the first level where full baseball rules come into effect.
Pitch count rules are in effect to protect the young pitcher’s arms from injury.
Lead-offs, pick-offs and stealing are permitted, and balks are called on pitchers.
Summer Ball is offered to all levels of players, as long as you played during the Spring Season.
- Evaluations are held to set up Summer Ball teams.
- Summer Ball runs from late June to late July.
- Travel from Mission will be required for Summer Ball.
- Full commitment is required/expected by players for Summer Ball.

Equipment Required:

Baseball glove
Batting helmet with double ear flaps and a chin strap or C-Flap (chin protector)
Batting gloves
Jock or jill
Molded Cleats
Bat that follows these guidelines: 13U 32 inch, 2 3/4 inch max diameter, -10 max length/weight drop, marked BPF 1.15 or USABB
Baseball pants, belt, socks are provided by the association (pants & belt returned at end of season)
Jersey (provided by the association)
Hat (provided by the association)
